Washington State

Just woke up and took a shower. I have to use the hotel's toiletries because I forgot to bring shampoo and conditioner. It's really bad, I used up an entire shampoo (mini) bottle in one shot. =/ My hair, too much!

Yesterday we took the ferry from Bremerton into Seattle. I saw this girl with a skateboard and a canvas (a painting of a papaya). When the ferry was in motion I took a walk around and saw her sitting towards the rear. I went up to her and we started talking. Her name is Lizzie and she's half Filipino. It was nice, we talked the entire time about art and such. I told her she should definitely come to New York sometime! We arrived into Seattle and said goodbye.

Washington is so beautiful.

Heath

Letters to Cleo just came on my playlist.
Cruel to be Kind.

This is reminding me of Heath Ledger in "10 Things I Hate About You".
I think his death is slowly hitting me...
Oh how I loved him in that film.

(insert your memory of him here)

Oh, baby.

At work. Advertising, postcards. This is what I'm stuck looking at.

"Your friends like a certain you, that's who you got to be..."
dump all friends, yay

I'm poor

Because I don't have a paying job this summer, I've been trying super hard to save money. I think so far I'm doing an okay job. I should keep a record of all my expenses but I don't want to. It's too scary...

Sigur Ros is playing at the Moma next week. For only $18, what a steal! Tickets went on sale at 11:57am and were GONE WITHIN 3 MINUTES. This guy commented on Brooklyn Vegan about how he bets people who are going to see the concert probably never set foot in the Moma before. Hmm... I somewhat disagree. It takes a type to appreciate music such as Sigur Ros and I think they can fit under the "museumilizer" category too. But then again, who knows. I can be wrong, shrug.

I hope someday I can see them live. And also Philip Glass.
I hope someday I'd be able to stand in front of Daniel Day-Lewis and tell him that his fly is open. And then he will remember me forever.

I hope Stephen Merchant will come to NYC. And then I'll tell him that we should get married because I want tall babies.

My mom's snoring now. I think it's time for me to go. Sweet dreams to all the kiddies in your pool. goodnight.

Mr. Gibbard

A long time ago I was in love with everything Ben Gibbard had to say. Then I got so sick of his voice. SO SICK of it. It's EVERYWHERE. In 3+ bands. On the radio. In the sky. In my apple.

...But you know what? Listening to Transatlanticism makes me feel like I'm listening to Death Cab for the first time again. It's a beautiful song. sigh.

Anyway. This is my 4th blog. 3rd currently active. 2nd public. 1 personal. I'm sitting at work, 5 floors below from Jenny. We work in the same building. We are talking via gchat. She's creating a play list on imeem. I'm taking a break/ browsing through Matt Luxich's illustrations.

Working here is fun. It's very strange seeing my work produced and distributed. The best thing about graphic design is that you don't have to put your name on it. That way no one will know that you're the one that sucks.

Okay! (single clap!) so welcome to my blog. This will go on and off. But I do have to warn you- I saw Lewis Black a few days ago so there may be a lot of beeeeeeching and moaning here. He's a good guy.

Thanks for reading my first entry.
