What do I need? sneakers? waterproof makeup? passport? insurance?

Passport unnecessary, perhaps a photo ID, to get into the bar. Waterproof makeup if it rains. In that case, bring an umbrella if it rains. Comfy walking shoes, need not be sneakers, although you may bring a change if you like. We will run/walk/walk briskly A LOT. Insurance would be good to have... although you wont have to bring it with you. Camera might be fun. Cell phone could be useful.

As for intangible things, I'll leave you with this:

you will need to have eyes of a hawk, wits of a monkey, swift as a coursing river, strength of a great typhoon, and mysterious as the dark side of the moon.
